Money from the fund is bringing clean and affordable power to communities in Zambia - many for the first time. Power from the 700kW mini hydro power-plant on the Zambezi rapids is replacing diesel generators that are expensive and harmful to the environment. Bringing clean, reliable power for the first time to many households, schools and a local hospital is a great achievement.
